On April 1, 2026, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Roth-Stielow officially handed over the institute to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ingmar Kallfass.
With this, the Institute for Robust Power Semiconductor Systems (ILH) and the Institute for Power Electronics and Electric Drives (ILEA) are merging into a single institute. Going forward, we will jointly dedicate ourselves to research and teaching in the field of semiconductor systems in power and high-frequency electronics as well as control engineering.
We wish Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Roth-Stielow a well-deserved retirement and look forward to our shared future!
