It was a pleasure to engage in in-depth discussions with field experts at the 1st General Assembly meeting of ARCHIMEDES, held at Vitesco Technologies in Toulouse, France, from March 19th to 21st, 2024. The EU-Project KDT ARCHIMEDES focuses on developing components, models, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and longevity of propulsion components, power components across automotive, aviation, and industrial sectors. During the assembly, partners had the opportunity to synchronize progress, exchange insights, and strategize for future steps. Within the project, ILH is involved in the development of accelerated lifetime tests to qualify power device as application close as possible to a lifetime of 120,000 hours and more.
