Merger of ILH and ILEA

On April 1^st, 2026, the Institute of Robust Power Semiconductor Systems (ILH) and the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ILEA) merged.

The ILH conducts research and education in semiconductor systems for power and microwave electronics. We employ modern semiconductor technologies and their associated integrated circuit processes to design high performance, compact and reliable power converters for applications in eMobility and renewable energies as well as analog transmit-receive frontends for applications in high capacity wireless links and high resolution radar.

Students will find stimulating topics for their research theses in a dynamic team.
